Hi, I'm Steve. I founded Elephant Wings Interiors in 2016 after several years of being asked by friends, relatives and social media followers to help with their interior projects.

As a young child growing up in the North-West of England, the majority of my friends were interested in their Game Boy and PlayStation, whilst I on the other hand began designing interiors using a virtual home design program on the family PC.  

​

I later found myself at University studying for a Marketing degree, followed by a HND in Events Management. However, I continued to be drawn to the creative aspect of Interior Design. Before the journey into the world of interiors began, my working career started at The Walt Disney Company in Florida. 

​

It's clear how much of an influence my Disney experience has on the way I approach design, by incorporating imagination in my concepts. Don't get me wrong, I'm not about to suggest you paint a pair of mouse ears on your living room wall, but Disney taught me; you are only limited by your own imagination.

​

Throughout my career I've been fortunate enough to have travelled to so many unique and inspiring locations around the world. This has always been a great source of inspiration for me and something I have utilised when designing interior concepts.

​

Elephant Wings Interiors was initially created as an interiors and lifestyle blog, documenting my explorations of the unique places I've visited across the world and the interiors I discovered.

It became apparent through the popularity of my multi award-nominated blog, the increasing demand for interior inspiration.

 

Beautiful interiors shouldn't be just for fancy hotels and the rich and famous!

At Elephant Wings Interiors we take a unique look at interior design; pushing boundaries and defying the 'norm' to create spaces that we inhabit that are fun, welcoming and most of all designed with the individual at heart.

My mission is; to enable anyone to have the home they desire, a space that is personal to them, their life and their style. No matter what an individual's budget, inspiration can be all that is needed to transform a space.
