  • WHO ARE WE?
    We are an online interior design studio offering you style solutions by using visuals such as mood-boards, 3-D images, floor-plans and itemised product lists. For a flat-fee we offer simple and affordable solutions to interior design. We pride ourselves on being friendly and approachable with you at the heart of everything we do.
  • HOW DOES IT WORK?
    We want to make the process as easy and straight forward as possible. 1 - Choose which of our design packages suits you and your needs, we offer three different packages; LIGHT, CLASSIC AND DELUXE. 2 - Complete our easy online questionnaire to gain insight into how you live and what style you're looking for. You tell us what you love, what you hate, what budget you're working too and how you want to use your space. 3 - Send us photos of your space and simple measurements to give us insight into your room.
  • WHO CAN USE OUR SERVICES?
    ANYONE! Simple as that. We work with you to create your ideal interior. Whether that's a rental property, your first home or simply updating your exsisitng space. Whatever your situation, we can help.
  • WHAT HAPPENS AFTER I PURCHASE MY PACKAGE?
    After you complete your purchase with us, you will receive your 'Welcome' E-mail. Within this E-mail you will find a link to our "How to Measure & Take Photos Guide" In the 'Welcome' E-Mail you will also find the link to your "Design Questionnaire" for you to complete. The questionnaire can be completed on any devise and lets you upload your photos and measurements directly to us with ease. Once we receive your "Design Questionnaire" we start creating your concept; - The process starts with us creating an intial concept for you. This is a collection of images and ideas we think may suit your requirements. We E-mail these to you and gain vauable feedback on how you feel about the direction we are envisoning. 2 - After agreeing on an intial concept we get to work on creating your dream interior. Depdending on your package, you'll receieve the inspirational tools for your final product enabling you to create your dream interior yourself. 3 - You then have 1 week to tell us about any issues or changes you'd like to your final product. We offer you 1 minor revision to ensure you're completely happy with your design concept.
  • HOW DO YOU KNOW WHAT MY SPACE LOOKS LIKE?
    As part of our intial "Design Questionnaire" we ask you to tell us about your space, the more detail you give us, the better of an idea we have of your space. Next, we get you to take some photos of your space from different angles, allowing us to see the whole room. You can then simply upload these to us via the questionnaire or by emailing us at: hello@elephantwingsinteriors.com We also need your room dimensions but don't panic, it's just basic measurements. We send you a guide "How to Measure Your Space" in your welcome email; it's easy, a quick sketch of your layout (we won't judge your drawing skills) along with your measurements and the placement of doors/windows etc.
  • HOW MUCH INFORMATION DO YOU NEED?
    The real answer is, the more information you can give us about the look you're after and how your space works presently, the better understanding we have of what's right for you. If you've got images from Instagram, Pinterest or inspirational pictures of spaces you love, you can send us those too. It's important to give us as much information as you can from the start, that way we can be sure you get the exact look you're after.
  • HOW DO I SET MY BUDGET?
    When it comes to the dreaded budget talk, work out how much you want to spend on your interior but remember to take into account your labour costs if you're getting tradespeople to complete the work. As labour costs vary by project we can't give any costings for these unfortunately, though bare in mind that labour costs for fitting say, a new floor, will be significantly higher than an elecritcian installing a standard ceiling light. Also keep in mind, when calculating your budget, what are you willing to spend on key pieces, for example; a sofa can range from £500 - £10,000 - it's all relative to what you want to spend. It's important to have a realistic idea of your budget from the outset, so we can deliver an achievebale final concept.
  • HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?
    We aim to be as effiecient as we can, but we don't like to rush things, we aim to give you a quality product you are 100% happy with. Depending on your package and project we aim to complete most designs within 2-3 weeks.
  • WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY COMPLETED DESIGN PACKAGE?
    We will send you your final design package at the following stages: LIGHT - 15 days after receipt of your "Design Questionnaire" and your photos and measurements. CLASSIC & DELUXE - 22 days after receipt of your "Design Questionnaire" and your photos and measurements. MUTUALLY AGREED EXTENSION - If a time-frame extension is mutually agreed, this will be treated on an individual basis between you and us.
  • HOW DO I COMMUNICATE WITH YOU?
    We want your experience with us to be simple and hassle-free. We understand that peoples lifestyles are extremely busy, so you can communicate with us via E-mail or live chat. 'WhatsApp' and video-calling such as 'Skype' can be requested by you if this is more convenient. We treat each client individually so whatever works best for you.
  • AFTER I HAVE COMPLETED THE DESIGN QUESTIONNAIRE, CAN I MAKE CHANGES?"
    Of course! We work with you to make sure you are getting exactly what you want. We initially create a 'Initial Design Concept' with the direction we are envisioning for you. With our collaboration, we then figure out what works and what doesn't. Here's the time to tell us anything you want to change or any more ideas you may have. Only once we have agreed on an 'Initial Design Concept', we will then source products/looks for your indiviual design.
  • WHERE ABOUTS IN THE DESIGN PROCESS AM I?
    Here at Elephant Wings Interiors, we have established a start-to-finish process using our terms to enable you to understand where abouts in the design concept building stage we're at: 1 - "DESIGN QUESTIONNAIRE" - this initiates our design process and allows the designer to start building your Initial Concept. 2 - "INITIAL CONCEPT" - this is the stage where we provide you with a intital look we have in mind for your interior. After which we will mutually agree any design changes. Once this has been agreed we will move onto Final Design Concept. 3 - "FINAL DESIGN CONCEPT" - we will issue you with your completed package, allowing you to implement the designs into your space. 4 - "DESIGN ALTERATIONS" - there maybe some minor design tweaks you would like to make after the Final Design Concept and allow minor alterations.
  • WHAT IF I DON'T LIKE THE FINAL DESIGN?
    We are pretty confident that you will be 100% happy with your design. Before the 'Final Design Concept' is completed and sent to you, we will have colloborated with you at various stages throughout to make sure we are on the right path. However, if you find you do have minor tweaks you'd like to make to your plan, we offer a 1 x revision. We want you to be 100% happy with our service!
  • DO YOU DESIGN KITCHENS & BATHROOMS?
    We can give you an overall look and feel for kitchens and/or bathrooms, delivering you a 'Final Design Concept' However, kitchen and bathroom design are very specialised and MUST be completed by professionals who can assess the requirements of your space, such as your exsisitng plumbing, electricals and ventilation systems etc.
  • I HAVE A LARGE OPEN-PLAN ROOM, IS THAT OK?"
    Sure is! For larger open-plan or connected spaces you would opt for our DELUXE package. For spaces that incorporate two "zones" (i.e. living and dining room) we would work to create a design that incoporated the areas cohesively in their design.
  • DO THE 3-D VIRTUAL IMAGES SHOW MY EXACT PRODUCTS?
    We use 3-D imaging to give you an idea of how your space will look with our 'Final Design Concept'. The 3-D images may not always feature the specific products as outlined in your 'Mood-board' it is mearly a tool to give you an idea of the look of the 'Final Design Concept' within your space. Your final 'Mood-board' however, will feature the exact products for your space along with the matching 'Inventory' itemised product list.
  • WHAT IF I CAN'T CHANGE LARGE ITEMS OF FURNITURE OR FIXTURES?
    We understand that sometimes, whether it's due to living in a rental property or simply that you can't justify the budget to change every single piece of furniture in your space, you still want to make your interior more individual to you and your needs. We work with YOU around whatever your situation to create a space you love to be in!
  • I KNOW YOU'RE BASED IN THE UK, DO YOU CATER FOR OVERSEAS CLIENTS?"
    We can cater for clients outside of the UK, though we may be restricted in where we source our recommended products. For certain countries we may not have the local knowledge of independent suppliers or be as familiar with your regional interior design offerings than here in the UK. However, we are always up for a challenge! If you are outside of the UK and would like our assistance, just contact us and we'll discuss with you whether we can help, we will always give you an honest answer.
